“Arthritis is an invisible disease that affects over 50 million Americans. I was diagnosed at the age of 15 - Yes KIDS GET ARTHRITIS TOO! As a collegiate tennis athlete is has been not only a battle on the tennis court but in all aspects of my life. Even though it has been a never ending fight - it has taught me to work hard even when everything is against you - to prioritize that which is most important - to serve and have empathy for others in their struggles - and to keep smiling. I wrote a children’s book (https://www.arthritisinmotion.org) to raise awareness of this invisible disease. Everyone should know that they are not alone in their fight against any invisible disease. It’s easy to lose hope, but DONT. It’s easy to want to give up, but KEEP FIGHTING. The very things that you struggle with now will be the things that will make you stronger.” @athritisinmotion
