“Hi my name is Gentry and I don't drink. I am alcohol free because my brain and body was slowly being killed by the effects of repeated ethanol consumption. I am a divorced 32 year old mom to 4 boys. 10, 7, 3 & 3. The last two were a buy one get one deal. It didn't take long for my brain to become addicted to alcohol. I knew at age 19 I had a problem. At age 21 put myself in rehab. At age 26 got a DUI. At age 30 I got sober for good. My addiction to alcohol was an addiction to checking out and avoiding my underlying mental health struggles.
