"Hey everyone! My name is Amanda and I’m here to show you that having an amazing life during and after cancer treatment is possible! I was first diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2012, then again in 2016, and once more in 2018. Since then, I have done SO MUCH MORE than just receiving systemic chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy. I became an emergency-specialty registered nurse, as well as a mother to a beautiful baby girl... I married my best friend, and gained a unique perspective from both being a patient, and treating patients. My dream is to help improve the health of all people, worldwide. I feel that experiencing cancer in my 20’s was my “call to action”; it was my awakening to become a more educated and compassionate health care provider. Experiencing a devastating illnesses undoubtably changes your life, but only you get to decide if it’s for the worse!" @Violette_Phantom
