Cancer - @holdingitalltogether

"Hi! My name is Erica from Illinois and I wear a black AWARE necklace for cancer. Last year my baby brother was diagnosed with Leukemia. After a year of treatments he was ready for a bone marrow transplant. Since the best possibility for a donor match is with siblings, my sister and I got tested. I was a match and my sister was not. After months of more tests, appointments to see transplant doctors, and insurance approval, I was headed to Chicago and donated stem cells to save my brother’s life. I wear my necklace every day to remind me of the struggle that my brother and so many others in my family have fought against this nasty disease." @holdingitalltogether
