"My road to motherhood wasn't an easy one. It took 5 years, numerous exploratory surgeries, mild fertility treatment and then more invasive treatment - IVF to have our son. The first 2 cycles of IVF failed and just when I had all but given up hope our 3rd and final cycle of IVF was a success and I'm an IVF Mama to a rambunctious 3 year old. Content with our little family of 3, we were totally shocked and surprised to discover that at the age of 42 I was pregnant naturally for the first time in my life. Unfortunately just a few short weeks later at 8wks+2 we would discover that I had a missed miscarriage - where unbeknownst to my body our precious baby had died a few days earlier. This was over a year ago and not a day goes by that I don't think about my gone baba. I miss the life that was growing inside me and possibilities that go along with it. I'm grateful everyday for my boy and my heart aches for everyone who has experienced this type of loss." @llwalthamforest
