“My name is Kristina and I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when I was 17 years old. I wear orange to represent a disease that is not always visible to everyone.
One morning I woke up and the soles of my feet were tingling. As time went on, the tingling rose up my body and wasn’t going away. My diagnosis was confirmed after an MRI showed lesions on my spinal cord.
I was gifted my orange A.W.A.R.E. necklace after my relapse in November of 2020 and have since connected with many others in the MS community. By sharing my story I hope to encourage others to do the same and inspire those to make the best of their life with MS one day at a time.” @kristina_cipolletti
